We are delighted to announce that the Eltham College U14A hockey team was crowned champions in the U15 London South Cup on Wednesday, showcasing exceptional skills and teamwork.
After a series of intense matches, our team, comprised of Louis, Will, Aadit, Daniel, Benjamin (vice-captain), Barney (captain), Lucas, Matt, Sebastian, Frans-Louis, Hunter, Aaryan, Aaron, William, and Raf, secured victory with 4 wins and 2 draws.
Jamie Batten, Head of Hockey says “We have been really excited by the progress and development of the group across the year and saw the U15 London Tournament as a brilliant way to continue challenge the squad. London is one of the toughest hockey circuits in the country, so to win the tournament with such a young team is an achievement the squad should be extremely proud of. They have worked so hard to get to this point and cannot wait to see how they continue to develop.”
Our students will now play against the London North Champions, HABS, Elstree, where they will compete for the title of overall London Champions.
