Year 6 Harvest Their Potatoes

This week, our Year 6 classes enjoyed a special moment in the school garden. As they prepare to move up to Senior School, they had the chance to dig up the potatoes they planted back in March.

Although the potatoes weren’t completely ready for harvest, we thought it would be a lovely opportunity for our pupils to see the fruits of their labour. Each pupil was thrilled to unearth their crop and see how much their potatoes had grown since they first chitted and planted them.

It was a wonderful experience that combined hands-on learning with a sense of accomplishment, marking a memorable end to their time at the Junior School.
