E-Safety Workshops
On Thursday 26th September, our Year 3 and Year 5 pupils took part in E-safety workshops, designed to educate them about staying safe online. The interactive, scenario-based sessions explored key topics such as online friendships, gaming, personal information, trust, and cyberbullying. Tailored to each age group, these workshops aimed to empower pupils to navigate the digital world responsibly.
In addition to these, we also hosted a Parent and Carer session, providing practical advice on risks like grooming, cyberbullying, and fake news, as well as resources for setting up parental controls and fostering open dialogue about online safety at home.
These valuable workshops are designed not only to equip our pupils with the knowledge to make safer choices online but also to encourage ongoing conversations about digital safety. By providing both pupils and parents with the tools and understanding they need, we aim to create a safer and more informed online experience for everyone in our school community. We look forward to continuing our efforts in fostering a healthy digital environment.
