Lego Build the Change Workshop
Today, our Year 4 class 4DT had the fantastic opportunity to participate in a workshop provided by The Day and LEGO Group’s Build the Change initiative. This experience was made possible thanks to Harrison from 4DT, who won their competition last year by building a creative “Woodpecker’s Dream House” entirely out of LEGO.
The workshop was packed with engaging activities, including:
- Playing interactive games with LEGO
- Meeting a real-life LEGO® designer, who answered many questions and shared insights about the creative process behind designing for LEGO
- Tackling a mini Build the Change creative challenge, where pupils got to unleash their imaginations and build their own ideas
Next, Harrison will be attending the Blue Earth Summit, where he’ll take on the exciting role of a roving reporter. He’ll have the unique opportunity to meet with speakers, share his ideas, and experience first hand how creativity and innovation can contribute to a better world. What an exciting journey ahead!
