Eltham College Pupils Shine at Kent Junior Chess Association Grand Prix
Eltham College pupils achieved exceptional success at the Kent Junior Chess Association Grand Prix tournament last weekend. Competing against talented players from across the region, three of our pupils secured gold medals in their respective categories:
- Louise (Year 3) – 1st place in the Under 8 Section
- Christian (Year 4) – 1st place in the Under 10 Section
- Yueci (Year 6) – 1st place in the Under 12 Section
This outstanding achievement also means that Louise, Christian, and Yueci have now qualified for the London Junior Chess Championships, set to take place this December.
In addition to these remarkable wins, several other Eltham College pupils also participated in the tournament, representing the Junior school with great enthusiasm and skill.
