House Poetry Competition

On Wednesday 15th January, students across all houses came together for the annual House Poetry Competition. In teams, they had just 30 minutes to create a poem on resilience.

The poems were judged on four key criteria:

  • Originality and Creativity
  • Use of Language and Imagery
  • Structure and Form
  • Emotional Impact and Engagement

It was fantastic to see all our students working collaboratively, sharing ideas, and bringing their creativity to life. The standard of entries this year was very high, making it a tough decision for our Head of Creative Writing, Mr Mitchell.
