Supporting Digital Learning in Uganda
Eltham College students, from both the Junior and Senior Schools, are working together to raise funds for a new computer lab at our partner school in Uganda, supporting the work of International Needs Uganda and the GEM Foundation.
The fundraising kicked off with a raffle offering fantastic prizes such as a luxury Thames cruise, afternoon tea at The Ritz, a Fortnum & Mason hamper, and a signed copy of Boris Johnson’s Unleashed.
Looking ahead, our students are now also organising a 5-a-side football tournament and a distance challenge as the next stages of their fundraising efforts. Taking place at the end of Lent term, the distance challenge will see students running, rowing, and cycling continuously for a day to raise even more support for the project.
These initiatives are all part of a shared goal to improve digital learning opportunities for students at the partner school in Uganda, and we are grateful for all the support you can give to this worthy cause.
