Celebrating Lunar New Year at the Junior School

On Tuesday 28 January, our Junior School marked Lunar New Year with a series of engaging workshops.

Year 3 and 4 pupils explored traditional New Year songs, practiced Chinese calligraphy, and participated in a martial arts workshop. Meanwhile, Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in workshops on Chinese musical instruments, calligraphy, and the elegant fan and napkin dance.

This annual event provides pupils with a wonderful opportunity to learn about and appreciate the rich traditions of Lunar New Year. It was a day of creativity, culture, and shared celebration.
