Great Results for Eltham College Swimmers at Kent Championships
Sixteen Eltham College students qualified for this year’s Kent County Championships, a significant achievement that reflects their dedication and commitment to training. The competition took place at the London Aquatics Centre across two weekends in late January and early February, with strong performances from our swimmers.

Eltham College swimmers continued to perform well in various events, including the 200m Individual Medley, 400m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 200m Butterfly, and 100m Backstroke. Hayden added four more gold medals, while Isabelle took silver in the 50m Backstroke.
The second weekend brought some challenges, with Hayden unable to compete due to illness, but the team remained focused. Leo and Isabelle both reached the 100m Butterfly finals, with Isabelle finishing second and Leo third. Leo continued to gain strong results in the 50m and 100m Freestyle, finishing second in both. In the 50m Butterfly, Leo secured another silver medal, while Isabelle placed sixth in the final.
In the 200m Breaststroke, Alice, Helena, Mila, Jessica and Stefan all placed in the top ten, while Veronique finished first in the 16-year-old category, adding another gold to the team’s results.
