Year 7 Enjoy Thrilling STEM Experience at Williams Racing HQ
Year 7 students enjoyed an exciting STEM day at Williams Racing Headquarters in Wantage. The visit provided a unique insight into the world of Formula 1 engineering.
Students tested their driving abilities on professional race simulators. They also took on an engineering challenge to design a model nose cone. Using craft materials, teams built the cones with the specific intent to safely crumple on impact and protect the driver.
Each group delivered impressive team presentations. They explained their approach clearly, detailing their planning, construction and testing processes.
The day offered valuable lessons in teamwork, creativity and applied engineering. Well done Year 7.
