Year 6 Explore the Mervyn Peake Library Ahead of Senior School Transition
Year 6 pupils visited the Mervyn Peake Library this week as part of their transition to the Senior School. Mrs Roche introduced them to the range of book genres available and provided a guide to help them explore new reading interests.
Pupils then had time to browse the shelves and enjoy a quiet moment of reading in the space they will soon use regularly. The visit supported pupils in becoming familiar with their new surroundings and encouraged independent reading choices.
