Lower School Netball Teams Compete in Disneyland Paris Tournament

During the Easter holidays, 26 students from the Lower School travelled to Disneyland Paris to take part in the annual Netball Tour.

Over the course of the trip, the students competed in a two-day tournament, took part in a four-hour masterclass with coaches from Elite Netball Academy, and had the opportunity to meet Super League players and England Roses, Paige Reed and Nat Panagarry.

Alongside the competitive fixtures, the group also enjoyed time exploring the Disneyland Parks and attended an awards ceremony held in Disney Village.

Three Eltham College teams took part in the tournament. Two Under 13 teams competed in the Under 14 category, with the U13A team finishing 4th out of 31 in the U14 Cup and the U13B team placing 7th in the U14 Bowl. Our U12 team also impressed, securing 3rd place in the U12 Cup.

As well as team results, individual players were recognised by Elite Netball Academy. Bela Hall (U12) received the U12 Spirit of the Game award, while Beulah Kadiri (U13) was named overall Player of the Tournament.

Congratulations to all students who took part. It was a rewarding and memorable tour that combined competition, learning and team spirit.
