Over the Easter holidays, 20 Eltham College students set off for an action-packed nine day cricket tour in the UAE.
The trip started with an exciting visit to the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa water show, giving the boys a taste of the sights before stepping onto the pitch.
Two training sessions in the heat prepared them for four tough matches against strong opposition. Every game pushed the boys to adapt, sharpen their skills and learn how to perform in unfamiliar conditions. Both teams found success during the tour, showing real determination and growth.
Away from the matches, there was plenty to enjoy. A morning at the beach gave everyone a chance to unwind, while an afternoon on a desert safari delivered breathtaking views and a taste of adventure.
The boys return to school full of confidence, new experiences and ready to take on the summer cricket season with energy and ambition.
