Chamber Choir Sings the Evening Eucharist Service at St Paul’s Cathedral

On Tuesday 29 April 2025, our Chamber Choir was honoured with an invitation to sing in one of the most famous religious buildings in the world: St Paul’s Cathedral. Home to a wonderful choral tradition, it was an incredible privilege to not only be invited to sing the evening service, but, as it was a Saint’s Day, for the service to be a full Choral Eucharist. This means that rather than the choir stalls, our students were singing under the dome, making for an extra special experience.

Director of Music, Mr Johns, says: “The choir sung brilliantly, performing Howells’ Collegium Regale Eucharist setting, and led a congregation of a few hundred. It was a wonderful experience, and we very much hope to return in the coming years.”
