Junior Maths Challenge Success
This May, all Year 7 and Year 8 students took part in the Junior Maths Challenge, a national competition designed to challenge and inspire young mathematicians.
We are delighted to announce that Isabelle (Year 7), Mina (Year 8), and Alex (Year 8) achieved full marks in the challenge—an incredible achievement that has earned them a place in the Junior Mathematical Olympiad. This competition is open to the top 1,000–1,200 scorers in the UK and overseas and is a significant recognition of mathematical talent.
Twenty-eight other high-achieving Eltham students have qualified for the second round Junior Kangaroo, which is offered to the next 10,000 top scorers across UK schools.
