Eltham College Teams Impress at Chess Semi-Finals
Some exciting news from the semi-finals of the National Primary Schools Chess Championship, held at King’s College Wimbledon!
In the Under-9 section, Eltham College A team delivered an impressive performance, finishing in second place. This means they have qualified for the national finals, which will take place at the end of the month!
Meanwhile, in the Under-11s, our A team narrowly missed out on qualification — just half a point short of a spot in the finals — securing third place. Our B team also impressed, finishing in a strong fourth place.
