Exciting News from the Drama Department!
We’ve had some incredible achievements recently, showcasing the talent and dedication of our students.
Helena and Elena (Year 7): These talented students triumphed over more than 2,000 entries to reach the finals of the English Speaking Union Performing Shakespeare Competition held at the iconic Globe Theatre. They had the unique opportunity to spend a day working alongside professional actors and performed on the prestigious Sam Wanamaker Stage. Truly a remarkable achievement!
National Youth Theatre Offers: Congratulations to Milo, Seren, Emilio (Year 10), and Mary (L6th) for securing places in the National Youth Theatre this summer! With over 5,000 auditions for just 500 spots, this is no small feat.
Rose Bruford College Success: A special shoutout to Lotte (U6th) and Lucas (OE 2024) for being offered places at the esteemed Rose Bruford College. Known for producing outstanding actors, including the legendary Gary Oldman, Rose Bruford is a leader in performing arts education with a stellar reputation for excellence.
