Year 3 Join Their Houses with Excitement and Team Spirit
Year 3 pupils were warmly welcomed into their Houses—Livingstone, Moffat, Chalmers, and Carey—greeted with cheers and smiles by older students as they received their house badges. The excitement continued with their very first House competition: a race to create the longest paper chain within a set time limit.
Pupils worked together enthusiastically, cutting, gluing, and assembling the chains in sections, pooling their efforts to create long, impressive chains. The hall buzzed with energy and friendly competition, which then continued outdoors, onto the field, as the chains were stretched to their full length.
An excellent effort was shown by every House, with Carey emerging victorious, finishing just a few links ahead of Chalmers. Congratulations to all for a fantastic start to their House adventures!
