Recital to Celebrate New Chapel Organ

Monday 29th September

The Music Department is delighted to announce a celebratory organ recital in the school’s chapel to celebrate the installation of our newly renovated and extended chapel organ. The recital will feature performances from a few of our pupils and music staff, but the highlight will be a 30-minute offering by Stephen Farr. Stephen is the chief examiner of the Royal College of Organists and Director of Music at All Saints Margaret Street, positions he holds in addition to his work as an active professional concert organist. He also, in happy news, happens to be a former pupil of Eltham College, and he is very much looking forward to returning to his old school to play this recital and do a workshop with our organ pupils earlier in the day.

The recital will start at 6pm and will last roughly an hour; pre-concert drinks will be served from 5.40pm. There’s no need to book a ticket in advance, and attendance is free. Do join us if you are able!
