Inspiration Around Every Corner: Students Explore London Art Scene
Ahead of a much-anticipated trip to Vienna, several of the school’s Sixth Form art students spent last Thursday visiting galleries and museums in central London. From contemporary installations to medieval chalices, they enjoyed a full day exploring the diverse artistic spaces the city has to offer. In every gallery, students had the chance to experience art up close and personally, ask questions of gallery staff and see the latest innovations in artistic practice. All the students returned with photographs, sketches, notes and plenty of new ideas. Already, exciting new work is being created in response to the work they saw.
