Eltham Netballers Make History

Eltham’s netballers have made school history with all three age groups qualifying for the Kent Finals for the very first time!

Huge congratulations to our U14 team, who went unbeaten last week to secure their place in the Kent Finals. Their outstanding performance — 7 wins and 1 draw — capped off a brilliant qualifying campaign.

This remarkable milestone means Eltham will have U14, U16, and U19 teams all competing at the Kent Finals. Only two other schools in Kent have matched this feat this season, and for Eltham the achievement is extraordinary – we are, after all,  just a year into being fully co-educational throughout.

Qualifying Results:

  • U14: Won 7 | Drew 1
  • U16: Won 5 | Drew 2 | Lost 1
  • U19: Won 8 | Lost 1

All three teams will now represent Eltham at the Kent Finals on Friday 28 November at Rainham, where the top eight schools in each age group will compete for the title and a place in the Regional Round of the National Schools Competition.

An excellent achievement from every player, coach, and supporter involved. We couldn’t be prouder — go Eltham!
