Eltham Boys Excel at ESAA Regional Cross Country Finals
Earlier this week, Eltham’s Boys’ Cross Country teams competed at the ESAA Regional Finals, delivering a series of strong performances despite challenging weather conditions.
In relentless rain and demanding conditions, both the Intermediate and Junior Boys teams ran with determination, securing 6th and 9th place finishes respectively.
The Senior Boys team, comprising Olly (Year 13), Liam (Year 13), Daniel (Year 11), and Matias (Year 11), achieved an outstanding third-place finish to qualify for the National Finals. Notably, both Daniel and Matias have now represented Eltham in the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior National Finals over a four-year period—an exceptional accomplishment.
This success stands as a testament to the boys’ perseverance and dedication, and the school community extends its congratulations and best wishes as they prepare for the prestigious National Final.
