Power for Good: Anti-Bullying Week
A huge thank you to everyone in the Junior School who took part in Anti-Bullying Week. It was a fantastic celebration of kindness, respect, and of this year’s theme: ‘Power for Good’.
The week began with Monday’s Odd Socks Day, where pupils and staff wore mismatched socks to celebrate individuality and remind us that our differences make us unique.
On Tuesday, children who demonstrated kindness on the playground were recognised with anti-bullying wristbands, highlighting the importance of positive actions.
Throughout the week, classes joined a live wellbeing lesson, learning how to feel empowered to speak out, support others, and challenge common myths that often prevent people from intervening when they witness bullying.
Senior School Sixth Formers visited the Junior School on Thursday and delivered an inspiring assembly on the ‘Power for Good’, focusing on the impact of small acts of kindness.
Finally, on Friday, we announced the winners of the Odd Socks competition, 5ND and 6EB, who earned an extra playtime as their prize!
