Year 6 Gets Their Hogwarts Letters
Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter, as part of the English curriculum. They walked through the actual Great Hall set, which was fully decorated for Christmas, saw real costumes and props from the films, and even spotted Harry’s broomsticks and wands. At lunchtime, they all enjoyed a glass of Butterbeer while snow fell outside, covering the Knight Bus! Walking down Diagon Alley and seeing places such as Ollivanders and Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes made it feel as though they had stepped straight into the stories. It was a fun and exciting day that they will always remember.
