Geography: From Observation to Illustration

The A Level geographers have been busy consolidating their knowledge and understanding of slope processes this week in their physical geography lessons. Geographers are required to demonstrate a wide range of skills at A Level, including essay writing, analysing graphs and data, and interpreting photographic evidence. They are also expected to draw sketches of sources or produce their own diagrams to explain processes, showcasing their observational and visual skills.

Many Geography teachers studied Art or DT at A Level themselves, so it is often a highlight to devote time to this important skill. The photo of their work celebrates the strong skill set they have developed. Well done, Year 12 geographers!
