Eltham Readers Join the Fun at CWIZZ Annual Book Quiz
The CWISL group (Children’s Writers and Illustrators for Literacy and Stories) runs an annual schools’ book quiz called CWIZZ. This year, the Eltham College Librarian took two teams comprised of eight students from Years 7 and 8. Dulwich College hosted the event, which opened with an inspiring talk from their Head.
The quiz rounds were compered by several CWISL authors, who also spoke about their own books and gave away prizes. Our teams performed very well, although they were not quite placed, and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They also won some prize books, which they had signed.
Additionally, we were awarded an author event for the school and are now waiting to hear which author will be visiting us!
