A Joyful Advent Celebration with Year 3 and Year 4
As the first term draws to a close, Year 3 and Year 4 delivered a wonderful Advent Celebration. The event featured poems, music, Christmas reflections, and a charming tea-towel-aided retelling of the story of Jesus’s birth.
The evening provided a meaningful opportunity to pause and reflect on the true message of Christmas. Pupils shared their favourite festive traditions, ranging from Mum’s roast dinner to spending time with loved ones. Throughout the night, the hall was filled with the sound singing as families and pupils joined together in festive hymns, interwoven with beautifully read poems from the students.
To conclude the celebration, Reverend Houghton led us all in a thoughtful prayer, rounding off a memorable evening that perfectly captured the festive spirit.
