ARTiculation: Articulating Art

Sixth Form students are proudly taking part in the national ARTiculation competition, which challenges participants to deliver a 10-minute presentation on a work of art of their choice.

The competition encourages students to research deeply, think critically, and share their ideas about art with confidence and clarity. Now in its fifth year at our school, the standard remains exceptionally high.

This year’s talks spanned a fascinating range of genres and time periods. Including Ellen (Lower Sixth) exploring Ryoji Ikeda’s Data Cosmos, a striking musical and visual piece, and Isobel (Lower Sixth) examining themes of philosophy and ethics through The Cadaver Tomb of René of Chalon.

Congratulations to all the speakers. Their meticulous research and assured delivery left all who attended thoroughly impressed.
