British Schoolboys International Races
A team of six boys from Years 8 to 10 represented Eltham College at the British Schoolboys International Races in Wengen, Switzerland, a prestigious schools’ team event first run in 1999 and organised by the DHO. The competition was held on a FIS-homologated course in line with BASS regulations, with the Giant Slalom starting from the iconic Lauberhorn World Cup start hut and the Slalom run on the same renowned course.
U16 Highlights
- Slalom: 2nd – Oscar, 15th – Harry; DNF Run 1 – George
- Giant Slalom: 12th – George, 14th – Harry; DNF Run 1 – Oscar
U14 Highlights
- Slalom: 7th – Hugo, 9th – Henry, 13th – Callum
- Giant Slalom: 7th – Henry, 19th – Callum; DNF Run 1 – Hugo
Team Event: 2nd Overall
Competing on one of alpine skiing’s most famous courses, the team delivered strong performances across age groups, with Oscar securing a podium finish and the U14 Slalom Team achieving 2nd place overall—a fantastic achievement against the best ski race talent in Great Britain.
