Sixth Form Students Support Personal Best Foundation
A dedicated group of eighteen Sixth Form students have demonstrated outstanding commitment and community spirit this week, supporting younger pupils in our community as well as the work of our charity partner, the Personal Best Foundation.
Students visited Blackheath Prep to help lead a series of physical activities for Numbers Day, inspiring younger pupils through sport and movement. Two of our elite Year 12 athletes, Emily, GB track athlete, and Christine, England netballer, joined the visit, taking part in a lively Q&A session that offered pupils a unique insight into life as high-performance athletes.
Their efforts don’t stop there. This same group will continue their charitable work over the weekend as they travel to Sheffield to take on the Challenge 12 overnight relay. Running continuously from Sunday evening through to Monday morning, the team will be raising funds to support the Foundation’s mission to expand access to athletics for young people in disadvantaged communities.
We will be sharing updates and coverage of their challenge across our newsletters and social media channels. Any support for their fundraising efforts would be warmly appreciated as they undertake this remarkable test of endurance, teamwork, and generosity.
