Chamber Music Takes Centre Stage at Morning Assembly

The Rosemary Morgan Hall was packed for a special chamber ensemble showcase as part of our Chamber Music Week.

The morning began with a beautiful acoustic guitar arrangement performed by thirteen pupils. This was followed by an unusual but impressive piano arrangement that saw three pianists sharing a single piano.

Next, our Year 4 and 5 harpists took to the stage. Having a harp ensemble is a rare opportunity in schools, and it was fantastic to see the students perform with such confidence and enjoyment.

Rounding off the assembly was our brass ensemble. First came Strauss’s Radetzky March, complete with enthusiastic audience clapping, followed by a mashup blending elements of gospel and rock!

A huge thank you to all the pupils who performed. It was a wonderful way to start the day.
