Sixth Form Students Visit Blackheath Prep for Number Day
A group of Sixth Form students recently visited Blackheath Prep, bringing maths, mentoring, and sporting inspiration to pupils from Reception through Year 6. In the morning, they led lively sessions with Reception students in aid of Number Day, which is a great opportunity for pupils to raise money for the NSPCC while having fun with Maths. Later, they supported lessons with Year 3 and met with Year 5 and 6 pupils to discuss the transition to senior school.
Blackheath Prep pupils also enjoyed hearing from two of our elite Year 12 athletes: Emily, a GB track athlete, and Christine, an England netballer. Both shared inspiring accounts of balancing academic life with the demands of high-performance sport, providing a memorable glimpse into the dedication required to compete at national level.
