Eltham Football Teams Compete with Spirit and Skill at Alleyn’s
Last week saw three of the school’s A team football squads head over to Alleyn’s School for their annual football tournaments.
First up were the Year 4s. The standard of football at this tournament was exceptionally high and, despite battling hard, the Eltham team came away without a win.
The following day, the Under 8s had their turn and, with much hard work, including an epic penalty shoot-out in the semi-final, they made it to the final of the tournament, where they were narrowly beaten to place second overall.
The Under 10s headed over to Alleyn’s the next day, faring better than the Under 9s but not quite as well as the Under 8s.
Well done to all who represented the school so positively.
