Cambridge Cup Victory for Eltham College Athletes
An outstanding performance by Eltham College athletes at the Cambridge Cup saw both the Year 8 and Year 9 girls’ teams finish in first place at Sutcliffe Park. Competing against 12 other schools across a full programme of track and field events, the squads delivered strong results throughout.
There were wins for the teams in the 100m, 200m, 300m, 800m, hurdles, high jump, long jump and discus, alongside consistent performances across the rest of the events. Both age groups also placed in the top three in the 4x100m relays.
The Cambridge Cup is a highly competitive regional competition, making this a significant achievement. Congratulations to all involved.
