Year 7 and 8 Writers Explore Creativity in Norwich
Members of the Year 7 and 8 Creative Writing Club travelled to Norwich to visit the National Centre for Writing at Dragon Hall. During the visit, students took part in an engaging workshop designed to spark their creativity, while also gaining expert advice to help develop their skills and strengthen their writing.
Following the workshop, they explored Dragon Hall itself, learning about the rich history of this Grade I listed building. Originally a medieval trading hall, it later served as residential accommodation for over 500 years and has been used for a wide range of purposes, including a butcher’s shop, a rectory and a pub. Today, it stands as a vibrant Literature House, hosting events and supporting writers from across the country.
