A Wild Day at Fenn Bell Zoo

Year 3 pupils enjoyed a fantastic trip to Fenn Bell Zoo, where they explored the fascinating world of wildlife and conservation. The day began with a guided tour led by the zoo’s knowledgeable keepers, who shared a wealth of information about the endangered animals in their care.

Throughout the visit, pupils were captivated by the opportunity to observe a variety of animals up close, including watching the lively lemurs and playful otters at feeding time.

To conclude the day, pupils took part in a fun activity where they designed their own mini quizzes, inspired by the signs around each enclosure and the engaging talks given by zoo staff. They then swapped quizzes with their friends, testing each other’s knowledge and reflecting on all they had learned.

It was a fun filled day, and everyone returned with plenty to discuss and share back in the classroom.
