Eltham College Pathways Programme Celebrates Another Successful Year
The Eltham College Pathways Programme, established to support gifted Year 5 pupils from local schools, concluded on Saturday. Now in its second year, the programme involved 27 children from five local schools.
Academically, the programme aims to engage pupils in challenging English and Maths sessions, helping to develop their abilities and build confidence as they consider potential 11+ pathways. Recognising that spending Saturdays at school is not everyone’s first choice, we were delighted to complement these sessions with a range of engaging enrichment activities in Art, Science, Music, DT and Sport, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed.
Programmes such as this are only possible thanks to our incredible staff and Sixth Form volunteers, who generously give up their time to plan and deliver these sessions. We are enormously grateful for their commitment and support.
