Scholars’ Concert Opens the Year in Style
The Music Department welcomed families to Central Hall for the first Scholars’ Concert of the year, with students from across multiple year groups performing a varied programme.
Director of Music Mr Johns said: “I love these concerts because I get a pro-level concert about ten metres from my office.”
Mr Johns also noted the continued rise in performance standards across the school, commenting that several musicians had noticeably developed even since their appearances in last week’s Concerto Competition.
Thank you to all the scholars who performed and contributed to another enjoyable evening of music.
