Children’s Mental Health Week at the Junior School
Eltham College Junior School took part in Children’s Mental Health Week, exploring this year’s theme, “This is my place”, through a range of activities focused on wellbeing and belonging.
The week began with a Junior School assembly, followed by lunchtime workshops where pupils enjoyed creative and collaborative activities. These included a “This is my place” art session, friendship web exercises, balloon keepy-uppies, colour-and-chat conversations, and making bird nest boxes.
The nest boxes will soon be placed among the trees on site, and the school community looks forward to welcoming some feathered visitors.
