A Championship Season for Eltham Ski Team
Our Under 14 team has been crowned ESSKIA National Indoor Champions in a fantastic summer term for the Eltham College Ski Team!
At the ESSKIA Indoor Championships in Hemel Hempstead, our racers rose to the challenge. The Category 2 boys (Year 8) delivered a dominant team performance to win their category, led by Henry, who finished 2nd, Mingxuan, 4th, Hugo, 5th, and Callum, 8th. The Category 3 boys also impressed, finishing second overall, with Oscar (Year 10) claiming the individual runner-up spot.
At the Kent Schools Ski Competition, both our Category 2 and Category 3 boys’ teams were crowned champions in their respective categories, while Oscar (Year 10) produced another excellent performance to finish second overall.
The team continued their success at the London Schools Ski Race. The Category 2 boys secured first place, with Henry (Year 8) winning his category. The Category 3 boys finished third, with Oscar (Year 10) again taking second place in his category. These results contributed to Eltham College being named Best Overall London School.
Congratulations to all our skiers on a remarkable term. Their dedication, resilience and teamwork have been exemplary, and we are incredibly proud of how they have represented Eltham College throughout the season.
