Supporting Digital Learning in Uganda

Eltham College students, from both the Junior and Senior Schools, are working together to raise funds for a new computer lab at our partner school in Uganda, supporting the work of International Needs Uganda and the GEM Foundation.

The fundraising kicked off with a raffle, offering fantastic prizes such as a luxury Thames cruise, afternoon tea at The Ritz, a Fortnum & Mason hamper, and a signed copy of Boris Johnson’s Unleashed. The raffle is open until 20th January, so there’s still time to buy tickets and support this wonderful cause.

Looking ahead, our students are also organising a 5-a-side football tournament and a distance challenge as the next stages of their fundraising efforts. Taking place at the end of Lent term, the distance challenge will see students running, rowing, and cycling continuously for a day to raise even more support for the project.

These initiatives are all part of a shared goal to improve digital learning opportunities for students at the partner school in Uganda, and we are grateful for all the support you can give to this worthy cause.
