Congratulations to Amber (Year 7), who has been selected to represent England at the FIDE World Youth Chess Championships in Italy.
The World Youth Chess Championships is one of the most prestigious international events for young chess players. Amber is one of just six players selected for the England team and will compete in the Under-14 Girls section, alongside 110 players from 61 countries and federations.
We wish her every success as she competes against some of the world’s strongest young players and represents both England and Eltham College on the international stage.
