On Tuesday 12th February, Aeroswift Racing travelled to Harlow Technical College for the regional STEM Racing finals. The team, comprising six Year 12 students from Eltham, joined top teams from across the region to compete for a place in the National Finals of the prestigious STEM Racing Competition, supported by Formula 1.
The competition challenges students to design, build, brand, and race miniature racing cars, putting their engineering, marketing, and project management skills to the test. Aeroswift Racing took part in a variety of judged activities, including a verbal presentation and a Q&A on their design. The highlight of the day was winning the award for Best Pit Display across all classes, showcasing the team’s strong brand identity and out-of-the-box thinking.
