King George’s Hall (KGH) at Eltham College is a central hub of activity for the students of both the Junior and Senior school. The building, is part of the old manor house, has been beautifully restored over the years to preserve its historic charm while still providing modern amenities. The dining hall provides students with a place to come together and enjoy meals in a communal setting.

In addition to serving as a dining hall, it is also a space where students can gather for concerts and house events. These events provide students with the opportunity to come together, participate in fun activities and connect with one another. The hall’s spacious design and excellent acoustics make it the perfect venue for musical performances, plays and other cultural events.

Aside from its practical use, King George’s Hall is also a symbol of the school’s rich history and heritage. School photographs and honours boards are displayed in the hall, reminding students of the achievements of their predecessors and the rich tradition of excellence that they are a part of. Whether used for dining, concerts, or as a backdrop for special events, the KGH is a vital part of life at Eltham College and is a source of pride for students, faculty and staff alike.
