Our school kitchen recently witnessed an explosion of flavour and creativity as our Year 6 pupils took part in a fun Chinese cookery competition. With ingredients and utensils at the ready, our young chefs learned how to make dumplings, transforming simple ingredients into mouth-watering delicacies.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Pan, our pupils learned the intricacies of preparing and folding dumplings, each filled with their unique combination of ingredients. However, the competition wasn’t just about making the perfect dumpling; it was also about presentation, teamwork, and flavour. As the aroma of steaming dumplings filled the air, our pupils also had the opportunity to taste their creations.

The cookery competition not only provided a fun and interactive learning experience but also offered a delicious start to the morning. Well done to all our Year 6 chefs for their culinary creativity and enthusiasm during the workshop.
