We are thrilled to announce that U9 chess team for Eltham College Junior School has achieved a remarkable feat by qualifying for the final of the National Primary Schools Chess Championship! Out of 37 teams competing in the semi-finals held at Camber Sands, they secured an impressive second place.
The semi-finals showcased our chess team’s excellent strategic prowess and understanding of the game. Facing numerous opponents from schools across the country, our students demonstrated remarkable skill, determination, and composure, ultimately securing their well-deserved place in the championship finals.
As Eltham College’s chess team prepares for the finals of the National Championship, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to them. We wish them the best of luck in their final preparations and the upcoming championship match.
