Last week, our Year 6 pupils embarked on an exciting artistic adventure with renowned artist Pragya Kumar. Pragya led an engaging workshop on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th March, introducing our pupils to Warli art, a traditional art form hailing from Western India.

Warli art is known for its distinctive style, characterised by intricate patterns and symbols that tell stories and folklore. During the workshops, pupils had the opportunity to explore the techniques and symbolism first hand and under Pragya’s guidance they created their own Warli art.

These workshops not only provided a platform for artistic expression but also fostered cultural appreciation and understanding among our pupils. Thank you to Pragya for her invaluable guidance and expertise, enriching our pupils’ learning experiences through art.
