Co-Curricular

Co-curricular work in Drama is seen as essential to the success of the department, providing opportunities for all of our students to take part in performances.

Through our Co-curricular Senior School Drama our students concede their place in the world and their response to it. It helps develop their ability to collaborate, put themselves in the shoes of others, and express themselves with confidence. Co-curricular work on Drama is seen as essential to the success of the department, providing opportunities for all of our students to take part in performances.

Every lunchtime and after school there is a rehearsal of some kind taking place in the Antony Barnard Theatre, and frequently the dance studio too. There are numerous shows across the academic year and our close proximity to London enables trips to see stage shows in the city throughout the year. There are also Senior School drama tours and visits, including to the Edinburgh Fringe.
